Valve fitted without difficulty. I live in a very hard water area at 460 parts per million & use a water softener. This is the third valve I have replaced over a 35 year period.
Note, the 'O' ring that retains the ON / OFF / flow control knob is not present in these replacement kits.

Good clear instructions for fitting this valve, I am not a plumber but it was all very straight froward. All parts included only needed a smear of vasaline and a few tools.

Easy enough to change but its a shame you have to change the whole thing for what is sometimes a small leak from the centre shaft. I expect a very cheap O ring would do the job.

Does the job fine. I have a gravity shower and this grey coloured fitting seems to have a better range of control than the old orange fitting.
